President’s Statement 2016

I’m so pleased and honored to take on the role of MNYCA President. My thanks go out to the board for their show of support. I am eager to keep up the momentum the association has gained over the past couple of years.

As president, I would like to expand our reach and begin creating more opportunities for the association to act as a resource for local college students. By offering internships and giving young people access to information about what they might expect from a career in the industry, we can initiate a dialogue that is mutually beneficial to both students and the association.

Thanks to the efforts of our board and membership we have been witnessing strong turn out at all of our events in recent years. During this time of so much transition in the industry, MNYCA seeks to be a supportive ally and reliable industry friend. Thanks to all of you who continue to show so much support for the association. We are who we are because of you.

Whether you utilize MNYCA to keep current by joining us for our bi-annual forums, or you prefer the healthy competition of a day on the golf course with colleagues, or maybe it’s an evening out with industry friends sharing cocktails at our holiday party; we are here to provide a place to keep current, connect and nurture relationships that are indispensable to career paths and the well being of the industry as a whole.

We are all a part of this amazing 129-year old association and its rich history. You keep us current and moving with gusto into the future. It is truly a great time to be a part of MNYCA.

Sincerely,
Chris Mulcahy
MNYCA President
